Stargate Universe

Another nail in the coffin for SF. There is so little good to report about this show I should probably stay quiet. Naah.. :-P

Imagine if sliders and Farscape/Lost in Space/Voyager had a baby. A rather mentally unstable one with violent outbursts and no cute traits or sense of humor.

What I liked about SG1 was the humor, what even kept me watching Atlantis was the humour once again. SG:U has none. It suffers from battlestar galactica syndrome.(The "New"one, not the classic) it is all doom and gloom, grim and serious. Some mandatory violence and sex thrown in for good measure. (I know plenty of people like the new battlestar, but it lacks the same feel to it the classic has.)

I know studios hate dropping IP, but perhaps this one should be left alone for a while. Or make a game based on it. But please do put some humour in there.
